Using primary source material only, you will learn about composition, as well as how to use the resources required in this workshop.
You will need: seasonal items from nature - in advance of the workshop you will need to go for a walk & forage things like shells, twigs, leaves, feathers, plants, stones, acorns, pine cones.
You will also need: A3 hot press (smooth) watercolour paper 300gsm or above, A3 cartridge paper, watercolour paint &/or coloured drawing inks - e.g. sepia, black, red, green (the colours required for your foraged items), old china saucer or plate for use as a palette, waterproof fineliner (no thicker than 1, 2 or 3), HB pencil, 30 cm ruler.
