Autumn Mushroom Tour : An Introduction to the Fungi of Windsor-Essex County

On this free woodland walking tour of Windsor's Ojibway Park, participants will be offered an introduction to wild fungi and fungi identification. As the group hikes the park's trails, various autumn species will be shown, shared and discussed. By the end of the tour, the group will have a better understanding of the important role that fungi play in a forest ecosystem, the common lifecycle of fungi, basic techniques used to identify fungi, and more.
