This is a FREE urban orienteering event where we use the MapRun app to navigate around the courses. Please make sure that you have downloaded the MapRun app onto your phone or Garmin watch.*
Paper maps will also be available on the day, but please fill out a form, once available, so we can predict map numbers.
We will have a team of people available from 10 am for 1.5 hours to provide coaching and technological assistance. We'll get together at the Coffee Culture cafe afterwards. :) – https://coffee-culture.edan.io/
Orienteering is a great way to make your weekend runs more interesting or just to enjoy the outdoors at your own pace!
Courses: Optimum distances 3 and 6 km(ish). The short one is suitable for newcomers.
Our planner is Anna-Kaisa Koskela-Brook.
After the initial Saturday, the courses will remain open for completion on the MapRun server for you to participate at your own leisure.
