Come and enjoy a cosy, autumnal š harp concert with Eleanor Turner, an international šŖ performer who lives in Stamford with her three children. Adults Ā£6, children free, simply pay on the door with cash or card.The music will be varied and fun, include some popular classical pieces and some well known Disney songs. There will be nature sounds such as rain, gentle birdsong and rustling leaves. š š š Eleanor plays harp on rapper Daveās latest album, the record breaking āThe Boy Who Played The Harpā and has recorded with Radioheadās Jonny Greenwood, The Voice winner Ruti, vocal group Voces8 and Tony Christie.
Autumn themed crafts and a range of textures and sensory experiences as well as the wonderful music make this live music experience something to really enjoy sharing with little ones of all ages. You can experience the music in any way you choose - lying, sitting, wandering⦠there is plenty of space in the church hall and the music will be amplified.
Refreshments available throughout the concert for a donation.
All proceeds go to the Invisible Kids Academy in Goma, Congo. This is a performing arts school that benefits children from a variety of circumstances and the founder and director, Bush Sebar, is personal friends with Eleanor.
