Book your place on a beginners foraging walk in Birmingham. Discover the city in a new and exciting light!
This Course is Forest School Compatible.
This course will help you to identify common uk wild plants which you can learn for your own Forest School setting.

Kids go free with a paying adult – please let us know if kids are attending
Walks typically last 1-2 hours and will be pushchair friendly!
On the walk we will be looking at trees, medicinal plants and herbal remedies, edible (or drinkable) plants and recipes, and useful fun plants! Quirky history or facts, ID features and harmful doppelgangers to watch out for.
Join us for a casual stroll enjoying the natural green spaces of Birmingham and learning a little more about plants including funghi, fruit, nuts, leaves, roots and more as you go along!
None of our walks are set in stone – we ask the group which way they feel like exploring and we go from there! We are always bound to find new and exciting things to look at and learn. The Ripple Road Bridge walk meet up location is at the bridge to hazelwell park on Ripple Road where Hazelwell Lane used to be.
