-Plant ID skills
-Methods of gathering and preparing wild foods
-Folklore & history
-Nutritional & medicinal benefits of wild plants and fungi
-An introduction to core bushcraft skills including an ancient fire lighting technique
-Wild food samples to try along the way
-A cook-up over the campfire
You will be offered tasty wild samples along the way, from traditional preparations such as cordials, vinegars, fruit leathers & tonics to our more modern creations such as forager’s chocolate and hedgerow ketchup. The day also includes a cook up over the campfire.
