90 min Autumn Equinox – Cleansing Ritual + Cacao Ceremony – this sacred experience will encourage feelings of letting go as we transition into the changing fall season to prepare for new beginnings. Everyone is welcome – all levels, including beginners.Each attendee will learn about and prepare their own cacao to sip and enjoy while listening to healing singing bowl sounds and music. This ritual will help open the heart, promote deep connection and bring a sense of gratitude. You will be guided through pranayama meditation (breathing techniques), self-reflection journal prompts and gentle restorative postures to evoke a grounding connection with the earth elements. You may experience emotional releases, insightful thoughts or heightened awareness. We want to release the past, honor the present moment and move forward into what’s to come.
The intro cacao ceremony will begin with a cleansing ritual to set intentions in our sacred space. Participants will sit in a safe and comfortable circle as some may want to share their intentions with the group or take a moment to journal with their own thoughts like, “Why am I here? What do I want to explore? What areas of my well-being do I want to receive clarity, ease, joy or healing?” - Root Down & Reflect.
Cacao ceremonies can vary depending on the traditions being followed and the person performing the ceremony. The ceremonies often have their roots in ancient Mesoamerican traditions, specifically the Mayan and Aztec cultures. The primary focus of the ceremonies is spiritual introspection, emotional healing, and community bonding. These elements will vary depending on the personal experience and the energy of the group.
Cleansing Ritual Kit includes - Palo Santo, White Sage, Selenite Crystal Wand, Incense Dish, & Candle.
Cacao Ceremony Experience includes - Ora Cacao flavor of your choice: Boundless Belize, Mystical Mushroom, Oaxacan Spice, Tantric Rose Blossom, & Vibrant Vitality.
Please wear comfortable layered clothing as we’ll be lounging with cushions on the studio floor and bring a journal, water, blanket and any items needed for comfort (available at TW).
