💫Description:The Autumn, Winter and Spring Dance Courses are a series of movement sessions where we practice different principles of dance improvisation. The intention is to enjoy dancing on a Wednesday evening in Prague. Together, with every kind of dancer, no matter your movement experience.
Every single class has a different focus and it is complementary to the rest of the course. Half of the course is led by Eva Mora and the other half by Janka Hríbiková.
- Language: English (with Eva), English / Czech (with Janka)
- What to bring:
Recommended to bring some water, comfortable clothes and a notebook and pen (optional). We will dance barefoot or in socks.
- When?: Wednesdays, 19:30 - 21:00
September trial classes: 17, 24
October: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
November: 5, 12, 19, 26
After the 2 trial classes in September, we plan to continue as a closed course – a committed group for deeper learning and shared progress.
➡️ If at least 8 people sign up, the closed course will begin in October.
➡️ If fewer sign up, we'll continue with open drop-in classes as before with an option to pre-pay the course for a lower price

💃About Eva:
"After finishing my studies in dance, I've been freelancing as a contemporary dance performer between Spain, Budapest and Prague. I’ve been working with different companies and creating my own work, as well as offering workshops and classes. Instant composition and Contact Improvisation are especially exciting for me. I am interested in dance improvisation as an art form, also as a way of connecting with each other and as a tool for learning about ourselves and our surroundings."

🌸About Janka:
"Janka began her professional journey in dance and theatre with the collectives MaximVS and Filigrán in Brno and at the Department of Choreography in Tallinn, Estonia, focusing on contemporary dance, improvisation, and the Alexander Technique under Tiina Ollesk and Tatjana Romanova. Since 2017, she has led dance and movement classes and workshops under the name Freedom in Movement, collaborating with various teachers and facilitators. From 2018 to 2020, she completed the Conscious Body somatic therapy training (150 hours, DanceLab) and a yoga instructor course (RYS 200, Yogacentrum). Since 2021, she has been a member of Available Collective, an international group working in performance art and physical theatre."

⭐About Available Collective:
"We are an international team of creators working in the field of physical theatre, dance and music. We are interested in performance as a way of immediate communication and interaction: on stage and in relationship with the audience. AC was created in 2021 as a continuation of the team's previous collaboration in other projects. AC's first project was Performance Dance Jam, a work on the border between dance and physical theater that arises as an improvised dialogue between creators in interaction with the audience. The premiere took place in July 2021, the production was then reprised several times in the following years. Currently, we conduct workshops and courses in Prague, Wroclaw, London, Sofia and other places."
