📣ANNOUNCEMENT AUTUMN BLÓT📣
Hello kin! This week, Thursday, October 2nd, I will be holding a live Autumn Blót for Hel, Angrboða, the dead, and the Landvættir. We will be honoring the Hrimþursar or rime giants, Alfar, and Landvættir for the earth darkening up, and cooling down. This time of the year the earth goes into a death like transition, brought on by Hel, and reminds us of the importance of going inward during this time of hibernation.
It will begin at 10:30 pm, EST, and go until I finish and will be held via Facebook live.
I will be doing a vigil for the frost giants as well. White candles will be lit for those that want one, you can comment your name and I will light a candle for you. Your name will be carved on the candle in runes and fed with my own blood.
Blót is the word for Sacrifice in Norse and here we honor and give offerings to the spirits as a thanks for always holding us up. Blóts can be done for different intentions as well, like road opening and blockage removal. However here, we will be celebrating the coming of Autumn.
