Autumn Allen is an award-winning author editor educator and children’s literature specialist. Her debut young adult novel All You Have to Do (Kokila/Penguin 2023) was long listed for the Massachusetts Book Award and was a People Magazine must-read for fall 2023 a Kirkus Reviews Best Young Adult Book of 2023 and a Black Caucus of the ALA debut honor award winner. In an interview with Seekonk Library’s Teen Librarian Carla Rennick Autumn will discuss her novel as well as what it's like to be a published author and editor. She will answer questions about writing professionally being a senior editor at Barefoot Books and her work as a writing instructor for kids teens and adults. The interview will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing. Copies of All You Have to Do will be available for purchase at the event.
