Vancouver's alternative rock trio Autonomous Apes comes back to Kamloops with a brand new album "Blame me". They are joined by local bands Fonkbeam, Norsu and Evangeline.
Autonomous Apes:
Started in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 2020 and now based in Vancouver, Canada, Autonomous Apes is an immigrant rock trio that goes from melodic verses straight to explosive choruses with a handy use of a distortion pedal. Fighting through the pandemic and the move to the other side of the Earth, frontman Egor Kopshar has managed to keep the band and music going, earning trust and respect among peers in the greater Vancouver scene while gaining popularity by the day. Now joined by Rishabh Gulati on drums and Noah Fp on bass, Autonomous Apes’ sound has reached its most direct and in-your-face form to date.
Fonkbeam:
Not a Funk band.
Norsu:
norsu is an indie rock band from Vernon, BC. Weaving together catchy melodies with unique arrangements inspired by alternative indie bands from the ‘00s, 2010s Australian rock, and ‘70s jazz/rock fusion, norsu’s music is about the struggle and beauty found within observations of the mundane actions that happen every day.
Evangeline:
The cover band your auntie SWEARS could make it big.
