Resplandor currently based in the Netherlands has a long history in the indie / shoegaze scene, their latest albums Pleamar and Tristeza have been produced / mixed by Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins and mastered by Slowdive's Simon Scott.
Resplandor has supported The Cure, Slowdive, The Jesus & Mary Chain, The House Of Love, The Radio Dept. among others and has played at festivals such as Grauzone (The Hague, NL), SXSW (Austin, USA), Culture Collide (Los Angeles, USA), Veltrac Music Festival (Lima, PE), touring Europe, North and South America.
Their latest album Tristeza has been included in several lists around the world among the best albums of 2022.

Catch The Breeze
Catch The Breeze released their second album, Into the Wide last August, a surge of sound gives way to a musical landscape of great diversity where massive and noisy compositions blend with captivating melodies and spheric passages. Catch The Breeze place their music originally between dream pop, shoegaze and art rock.
To capture the band’s musical synergy is the greater part of Into the Wide recorded live at Tapetown Studios, Aarhus, while the intense and charismatic vocal was recorded at Heyman Studios, Copenhagen. The music is beautifully accompanied by guest musicians Kasper Staub, synth (Lowly) and Camilla Florentz, vocals (ONBC). Everything has been expertly mixed by Christian Alex Petersen, Grapehouse Studios (MEW, Marching Church, Liss and others).

Meadowlake
Meadowlake is a dream pop band from The Netherlands. Once started as a group of friends that wanted to make music together, their powerful mix of good songs and dense instrumentals wrapped in thick layers of guitar and reverb is exciting, and pushes the boundaries of the shoegaze genre to incorporate influences from singer-songwriter music and folk.
Their self-titled debut was released to critical acclaim in 2018. Single ‘Heavy’ was a Viral 50 and Best of NL Spotify hit and single ‘Dead Man On The Payroll’ was chosen as best song of 2018 by the Dutch Indie Chart platform.
After their self-titled debut, their second album ‘Wait For Me’ was released in the summer of 2020. Single ’Blood Crawls’ is a fan favorites and their best performing single on streaming services.
Meadowlake are currently working on their third album—looking for a new, more stripped-down sound as a three piece—inspired by bands such as Low, Daughter, and Big Thief.

Turquoise
The persistent visions of The Durutti Column and Cocteau Twins have instilled memories among Turquoise’s members, of a blue-tinted VHS nostalgia — a little faded but still romantic, which leads to the name of the group.
Turquoise smells of post-punk, dream pop and shoegaze. Analogical synthesizers and guitars drowned in reverb, introspection and electricity, melancholy and French lyrics.

Automatic Noise Festival is een avond met shoegaze artiesten: Catch The Breeze, Resplandor, Turquoise en Meadowlake.
Resplandor (NL)
Als support act van onder andere The Cure, Slowdive, The Jesus & Mary Chain, The House Of Love en The Radio Dept, heeft Resplandor al een lange geschiedenis in de indie en shoegaze scene. Zo zijn hun laatste albums Pleamar en Tristeza produced en gemixed door Robin Guthrie van Cocteau Twins en mastered door Simon Scott van Slowdive.
Hun laatste album ‘Tristeza’ is met veel waardering ontvangen en zal te horen zijn op 22 april in Cinetol.
Catch The Breeze (DK)
Catch The Breeze heeft hun tweede album Into the Wide afgelopen augustus gereleased. Het album is een muzikaal landschap met een brede diversiteit, waarbij massieve en luidruchtige composities blenden met boeiende melodieën en sferische passages. Catch The Breeze valt tussen genres als dream pop, shoegaze en art rock.
Om de band’s synergie vast te houden is het grootste gedeelte van Into the Wide opgenomen in Tapetown Studios in Aarhus. Alle muziek is gemixed door Christian Alex Petersen.
Meadowlake (NL)
Meadowlake is een dream pop band uit Nederland. Hun krachtige mix van dikke lagen gitaar met reverb en volle instrumentals is spannend en duwt de grenzen van shoegaze richting invloeden van singer songwriter en folk.
Na hun self-titled debuut, dat goed was ontvangen, brachten ze hun tweede album ‘Wait for me’ in 2020 uit. Op dit moment zijn ze aan het werken aan hun derde album, wat een meer stripped-down geluid zal gaan worden, geïnspireerd door bands als Low, Daughter en Big Thief.
Turquoise (BE)
De hardnekkige visie van The Durutti Column en Cocteau Twins hebben nog ingeprente herinneringen tussen de leden van Turquoise. Een blauwgekleurde VHS nostalgie, een beetje vervaagd maar nog steeds romantisch, wat dan ook de naam van de groep brengt.
Turquoise ruikt naar post-punk, dream pop en shoegaze. Analoge synthesizers en gitaren verdronken in reverb, introspectie en elektriciteit, melancholy en Franse teksten maken deze band tot wie ze zijn.
