We invite you to join us for Autism Acceptance Month with the debut of short poetry film Autistic Joy, celebrating the joy and greatness of autistic people, written in their words and on their terms.
Your host for the evening, Maddi Crease, an autistic poet and artist and former Metal Artist in Residence, is proud to present her first short film, shot and directed by local filmmaker Aaron Shrimpton.
The event will include words from Metal, Maddi and the Autistic Joy team, as well as performances by guest poets, ending with the debut screening of Autistic Joy.
The bar will be open for the purchase of soft and alcoholic drinks.
