About this Event
Autism & ADHD Unlocked: A Parent Empowerment Workshop
Autism & ADHD Unlocked is an interactive, stigma-free parent empowerment workshop designed to equip families with knowledge, tools, and confidence to better support children with autism and ADHD.
This workshop creates a safe, supportive space for honest conversation where parents can ask real questions, break down myths, and gain a deeper understanding of neurodiversity. We move beyond labels and diagnoses to focus on strengths, needs, advocacy, and practical strategies that work at home, in school, and in the community.
Parents will learn how autism and ADHD show up differently in children, how executive functioning, sensory needs, emotional regulation, and behavior are connected, and how to navigate school systems, services, and support resources with clarity and confidence. The session also addresses common challenges such as stigma, burnout, communication barriers, and feelings of isolation while reinforcing that parents are not alone on this journey.
What Parents Will Gain:
- A clearer understanding of autism and ADHD across the spectrum
- Tools to support emotional regulation, focus, and behavior at home
- Strategies to advocate effectively within school and service systems
- Insight into available community resources and support services
- A supportive network of parents and professionals committed to acceptance and empowerment
Autism & ADHD Unlocked is not about “fixing” children it’s about empowering families, celebrating neurodiversity, and building pathways for children to thrive.
