Autism and Me for diagnosed autistic 8 - 12 years supported by SOLAR

Autism and Me is a free, 3 Mornings program, The courses have up to 8 participants per program.

This course offers an opportunity to learn more about autism in a small, supportive, group setting. It provides an opportunity to discuss individual experiences, hear the experiences of others, and identify strategies that could help in your day-to-day life.

Who can attend:

• 8 - 12 year olds with an autism diagnosis

• Your child is registered for support with SOLAR.

• Your child is able to commit to attend every session.

The group sessions are 1.5 hours. They cover

1. Understanding Autism

2. Social Communication

3. Sensory Awareness

4. Anxiety

And much more.

During the session we will also do some craft activities

Sessions will take place on Monday 12th - Wednesday 14th August every morning 10am - 1 11.30am
