11:30 am: Hear from local authors Andrea Hardeman, Alice Burch. BlackGold Publishing, a Black-owned company based in Virginia will join via zoom to talk about starting a publishing company
12:30 pm: Lunch will be served
1:00 pm: Make a zine
Folding zine “Leaders in Black History” (1 pm)
Create original (1:30 pm to 3 pm)–get inspired with special collections & books from Utah Black Leaders
Make copies of your zine to publish and share with others (3 pm to 4 pm)
4:00 pm: New Authors Showcase & Prize with afternoon tea and light refreshments
