About this Event

About the event

New York Times bestseller Connie Berry joins Authors! to discuss her latest book, A Grave Deception, the latest installment in her popular Kate Hamilton mystery series. Learn the inspirations behind the legendary Kate Hamilton, along with insights into Berry's antique and history driven writing process. This is a fascinating discussion for fans cozy, historical and British mysteries.

The discussion will run approximately 45 minutes followed by a brief audience Q&A. Each attendee will receive a copy of A Grave Deception.

About the book

A Grave Deception finds the crime-solving antique dealer, Kate Hamilton, and her husband, Detective Inspector Tom Mallory, on an archaeological dig in the UK. After a perfectly preserved body from the 14th century is found, Kate and her husband are called to help appraise valuable grave goods. The case becomes chillingly relevant when modern day murders with striking similarities happen at the same dig site. To keep the body count from rising to four, Kate and her husband must unravel a mystery 700 years in the making.
