Join a local author, Katharine Johnson, for her newly released book "Belizi's Blizzard."Belzi’s Blizzard is a coming-of-age story of a young girl who is isolated during a blizzard with a grandmother she has never met before. Belzi is angry and positive she's not going to like the grandmother, so decides to run away, but the blizzard spoils that plan. Her only solace is a homeless dog that is looking for a home. Belzi learns that she, like the dog, must learn to trust. At the same time, the mystery as to why her mother ran from her own mother and home entices Belzi to find out why. A hidden journal just may have the answer.
This programs is for youth ages 12 and up and adults.
