About this Event
Join John Mason and his best friends who are about to have some amazing adventures as herpetologists! These enthusiastic young men are hunting for reptiles and amphibians to further their research. As they travel the world, they encounter many challenges such as global warming, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis and even tornados – all of which they overcome.
Through it all, these friends explore the world and meet other herpetologists who are also conducting research. John Mason's Herpetology Adventures will take you on their journey to demonstrate survival skills that allow them to overcome the odds against them in their quest to save the reptiles and amphibians they are researching. As they explore the rainforests in all parts of the world, they discover and even save these endangered species, and their research is recognized by government leaders. They receive rewards and are recognized as world renown scientists for restoring the environment after storms ravage the herps’ habitats.
About the author:
From a young age, I was captivated by reptiles and amphibians, a passion that began in 2nd grade with a toy reptile presentation. By 4th grade, I was writing about my dreams of studying these creatures. Despite bullying, misunderstandings, and personal struggles in school, I found solace in writing and the companionship of my pet frog and gecko. In high school, I managed basketball teams, traveled to Europe, and explored entrepreneurship through Twitch, Shopify, and videography, learning resilience through setbacks like scams.
College brought opportunities in sports management and refereeing but also struggles with mental health and financial challenges. Post-college, I faced homelessness and hallucinations but found hope through proper diagnoses (OCD, Autism, and Schizophrenia) and treatment. Today, I assist with marketing, work toward a brighter future, and revive my love for herpetology. My journey reflects resilience and growth—join me to explore herpetology and be part of my story.
