Bestselling author Lon Ballinger provides an inside look at the Golden Era of New York City Nightlife! A leader and innovator in the nightclub industry for more than 40 years, Ballinger opened and operated Webster Hall, Ballinger's, Heartbreak Hotel, and the Boom Boom Room.
A larger-than-life true story, Party Boys is about how a band of dirt-poor Canadian brothers turned nightlife in Canada and New York City on its collective ear. From the birth of disco to hip-hop, the Ballinger brothers helped shape a dazzling culture where Mick Jagger, Prince, and Madonna performed, musical acts got their start and people like Lady Gaga, Bill and Hillary Clinton came to dance and enjoy the music!
