About this Event
Join us for our author talk with the popular local author John Blay. John lives at Eden on the south coast of New South Wales with his beloved forests at his back. He has spent 40 years exploring them on foot and celebrating them in writing. John is the author of Back Country, On Track and Wild Nature. He will guide you through the wild beauty of some amazing Eurobodalla landscapes, their history and significance.
John will speak about ‘Writing Landscapes’, bringing in themes from all his books and showing some dramatic places from across the region. John says: “Where do we really live? We drive along the highways and only experience a tunnel vision of the countryside in which we live. But there’s more to it. Lots more”.
Come along to our libraries to hear the fascinating talk and enjoy some refreshments, John will be signing books for sale on the day.
