The book offers affectionate and candid portrayals of prominent Latin American authors, including Manuel Puig, Carlos Fuentes, and Guillermo Cabrera Infante. Levine connects her personal journey, reflecting on her bisexuality as having an important connection to her identity as a translator, with the creative process of translating complex works.Light refreshments served.
