About this Event

Join the Parker Hill Branch for an author talk with debut authors Dr. Adaira Landry, MEd and Dr. Resa E. Lewiss to learn about their brand new book, MicroSkills: Small Actions, Big Impact. Both authors will discuss the concept of microskills, their experiences as medical professionals, and how microskills have helped them throughout their professional lives. They’ve compiled knowledge from their work environment in a way that can be applied across employment sectors, and will offer attendees tangible and practical steps towards better task management and organization, ultimately helping attendees attain long-term goals by building short-term pathways.

The talk will be moderated by Alister Martin MD MPP, a former White House Fellow and current Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Research Faculty at the Harvard Kennedy School. Founder of Get Waivered, a program that is converting our nation’s ERs into the front door for opioid addiction treatment. Co-founder of GOTVax, an initiative aimed at leveraging a get out the vote framework to deliver vaccines to vulnerable communities via hyper-targeted vaccine clinics. In 2019, he founded Vot-ER, with a team of healthcare providers and behavioral science experts to help patients vote like their health depends on it.
