Marie Christmon grew up in Richmond and going to MRL gave her imagination a place to expand. Becoming a student librarian solidified her passion for books.
After earning her BA, Marie took to the skies as an international flight attendant and visited the places she had read about. Returning to school in Los Angeles, she studied fashion merchandising. Somewhere in there she found time to attend law school. Her writing is inspired by the adventures of raising her daughter, Marissa.
