Promo, swag, social media … modern day publishing can feel overwhelming. Three Colorado debut authors share their tips and advice for surviving debut and maybe even enjoying yourself while you’re at it.
Registration is required for this event and tickets are limited, so save your seat early!
Your event registration covers attendance at the Salon, as well as one copy of Being Mary Bennett (JC Peterson), The Bone Spindle (Leslie Vedder), or Cold the Night, Fast the Wolves (Meg Long), chosen at registration. The books will be available for pick up at the event. There will also be additional copies of each book available for purchase at the event.
This workshop is in-person and masks are required per Boulder County regulations. We are dedicated to keeping our community safe. If you are feeling unwell or showing signs of illness on the evening of the event (cough, sniffles, sore throat, fever, etc.), please stay home and contact the shop about picking up your book at a later time.

JC Peterson lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, two small sons, and one enormous tabby. When not dreaming up funny contemporary stories or herding children, she loves to eat and shop local, explore the Colorado mountains, and plan new adventures. Being Mary Bennet is her first novel.
Meg Long is a sci-fi author and content writer who originally wanted to be a spy. Her debut sci-fi novel, COLD THE NIGHT, FAST THE WOLVES, will be released 1/22/2022 from Wednesday Books. When not reading or writing, she’s kicking things at her Muay Thai gym with her boyfriend, playing video games, or working at her day job as a content writer in the tech and video game industry. Leslie Vedder (she/her) subsists primarily on coffee and cat snuggles! She grew up on fantasy books, anime, fanfiction, and the Lord of the Rings movies, and met her true love in high school choir.
