Join us on Saturday, January 31 for a special free event with children’s book author, Dr. Alexandra Jones, who will be doing a reading and book signing at Africatown Heritage House for her book, Indya the Archaeologist!The reading will begin at 1:00pm and seating is limited, so RSVPs are required. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dr. Alexandra Jones is an archaeologist and archaeology educator with more than 16 years of experience. She worked for the PBS television show Time Team America as the Archaeology Field School Director, where she created programs for junior high and high school students. She currently serves as the President of the Society of Black Archaeologists and is passionate about making archaeology accessible to all.
