PFLAG Rome is delighted to invite you to our upcoming Community Resource Fair on Saturday, January 31, featuring a keynote address by author and journalist Nico Lang, whose work focuses on LGBTQ+ issues, equity, and community resilience.This event will bring together local nonprofits, community partners, and affirming businesses to share resources, services, and meaningful connections with LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and allies from across our region.
At 2:00 PM, award-winning journalist and author Nico Lang will lead a discussion drawn from his powerful work, offering a vivid and compassionate portrait of trans and nonbinary teenagers across the country. His talk explores their everyday triumphs and challenges, as well as the realities of growing up trans in America today. Nico centers the transformative power of young people’s stories and the importance of ensuring families are heard during this pivotal moment.
