Molly McNett teaches creative writing at Northern Illinois University. Her fiction has appeared in The Best American Short Stories, the Pushcart Prize, and in a book of stories, One Dog Happy, published by the University of Iowa Press, which was a John Simmons Award Winner. McNett’s luminous storytelling traces the fragile boundaries between past and present, grief and hope, and the quiet, hard-won moments that shape who we become.
