A Florida novelist and author of the three-book Choctaw Parker Mystery/Adventure series. The third book in this Gilded Age historical mystery series is set in Arcadia and Ybor City, Florida. All three of the books in this series feature a half-White/half-Choctaw Indian railroad detective who works with a resourceful lady gambler to solve all manner of murder-most-foul in these Victorian Era sagas. Jimmy Lee “Choctaw” Parker works for the three great railroad barons Florida:

Henry Flagler in the second book, Blood on the Trestle (Jan 2025)
Henry Plant in the third book, Blood at the Whistlestop (coming in the fall of 2025)
It is the third book in the series, Blood at the Whistlestop: Murder on Florida’s Peace River that will strongly appeal to residents of Arcadia and surrounding counties. He has worked with Carol Mahler and other Desoto County historians over the past year while researching the story.
