We are excited to welcome author Dr. Renee Hoekstra, Psy.D. for a workshop, reading & signing of her new book, The Emotional Extremist's Guide to Handling Cartoon Elephants.
Intense, painful, and confusing emotions often keep people in a tizzy around relationships, getting and staying organized, being clear and grounded, and taking action that is aligned with values. Dr. Renee Hoekstra has over 20 years of experience helping people navigate their emotions. She will provide a brief overview of how to gain clarity around emotional confusion, review how emotions function, and identify some of the barriers to emotional overwhelm. This free workshop will include some writing exercises and prompts as well as readings from the Cartoon Elephant book
