About this Event
Join Angie Sanchez, founder of the nonprofit VIDA Cultural Arts, in conversation with Kim Guerra—author, activist, and founder of the Brown Badass Bonita movement—as they discuss her book, Badass Bonita.
📅 Tuesday, November 19th at 7 PM
Prepare for a powerful evening of self-love, healing, and discovering your inner strength. In Badass Bonita, Guerra shares her journey of reclaiming her power, guiding readers through finding their own. By rejecting the limiting beliefs she was taught as a young girl, she learned to use her voice; the more she listened to her inner niña, the more she uncovered her inner guerrera. Vowing never to stay "calladita" again, she now empowers Latine women to find their voices, helping them heal the stories and emotional wounds that have kept them silent.
Don't miss this transformative evening!
