We’re thrilled to host a heartfelt author reading and Q&A with local writer Ayla Ali, taking place on the 8th November from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the library. Ayla will be sharing insights into her new book, All That Summer Left, offering a unique opportunity to connect with a rising literary voice. This event also holds special meaning. As a child, Ayla frequently visited the library, participating in the annual Summer Reading Challenge and volunteering her time. These visits, shared with her late brother Zaki, who passed away in 2022, were formative experiences that fueled her passion for writing. Zaki was also a dedicated volunteer at the library, contributing countless hours, particularly as an IT buddy and assisting with the Summer Reading Challenge from 2012 -2022 when he suddenly passed away. The memories they created in the library remain deeply meaningful to her. Join in for an inspiring afternoon of storytelling, reflection, and community. This is a walk-in event.. No Booking Required.
