Everyone is welcome to come to the Rockpile Museum at 2:00 PM. Bruce will begin his discussion of the book starting at 2:15 PM. After his presentation, visitors are encouraged to stay and catch up with friends, while Bruce will be signing books.Bruce spent his earliest years on two ranches in Campbell County, north of Gillette. His parents then bought a ranch in northwestern South Dakota in 1959. The stories in this memoir occurred from 1955 to 1971. While the stories are particular to Bruce, they are not unique to life on the plains. He realized while reminiscing with friends, that our journeys are similar, even if separated by hundreds of miles.
