WHERE WILL IT BE HELD?
AUTHOR ACADEMY will take place at the famous and perfectly positioned Hotel Grand Chancellor in Hobart. This iconic hotel is located right on the waterfront and close to the major attractions that make Hobart such a great city to visit. The charming old waterfront, the boats, the restaurants, and cafes all make this a perfect venue for an Author Academy.
DATES AND TIMES
The retreat runs on the following days and times:
- Thursday 10th April: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Friday 11th April: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (Group dinner at Da Angelo Ristorante in Battery Point)
- Saturday 12th April: 10:30 am – 4:00 pm (Later start to visit Salamanca Markets)
- Sunday 13th April: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
ABOUT YOUR AUTHOR ACADEMY COACH ANDREW GRIFFITHS
Andrew Griffiths is an international bestselling author with almost 25 years of experience. He has written 14 books sold in over 65 countries, published by leading publishers such as Allen & Unwin and Simon & Schuster, and has recently embraced self-publishing, working closely with Publish Central.
Andrew is passionate about guiding aspiring authors through the complex book writing and publishing process. Over the past decade, he has personally coached and mentored almost 1,000 people to write and publish their first book, with many going on to write multiple books. His unique frameworks, models, and processes help new and aspiring authors not just write good books but world-class books.
He has taught book writing and publishing programs in the UK, Singapore, Bali, and throughout Australia. A few years ago, Andrew started running 4-day Author Academy retreats in beautiful locations to help new authors map out their books in detail and get them fully ready to write. These retreats, held in Bali, Cairns, Inverloch, and now Hobart, have been immensely successful, with virtually every attendee going on to write and publish their book.
