Authentic Storytelling: Influence with Impact
Master the art of storytelling to move your audience and inspire meaningful action
About this Event

People have loved stories for thousands of years because they bring order to our chaotic world, give meaning to the events around us and show us what to do. In short: stories show us the way.

Successful communication is rightly regarded as a key skill in an increasingly networked world. On this seminar day, you will understand the basics of storytelling in a playful way, learn important techniques in exercises that build on each other and develop your own stories for specific issues. Be it for targeted communication in a professional environment with business partners, employees and customers or for private concerns.

What is also important to many participants is that you develop mindfulness for your own language in conversations with other people and yourself and become aware of how others want to influence you. Storytelling therefore not only enables you to make a convincing impression at work and in your private life, but also helps you to stay more true to yourself in your everyday life.

In the modern context, storytelling is primarily an approach to effectively convince other people. In this seminar, we will take up the roots of modern storytelling from Joseph Campbell and Christopher Vogler, simplify them and combine them with key findings from psychological research to create a simple technique that can be used to convey ideas in a targeted, effective and unobtrusive way and guide people to take action.

In this full-day seminar, you will playfully explore the pillars of effective storytelling and actively put them into practice. Topics include:

 • Develop an intuition for the elements of a story
 • Convey messages through stories
 • Discover how to make stories emotionally captivating
 • Understand how stories inspire
 • Learn how to make your story relevant to your audience
 • Learn when and how to use stories for optimal effect
 • Create and share your own personal story

The largest contributing factor to how much your audience believes your story is your belief in yourself. Confidence is key to successful and enjoyable communication. You want to feel comfortable while sharing your authentic self. That's why we are giving a full-day Public Speaking Confidence seminar the day before the Storytelling seminar, on July 15th. Same location, same trainers, new experience.
By getting the combo ticket, you can enjoy both seminars and save 100€ on your ticket.

Your Trainers
Pascal Heymann

Until the age of 21, I avoided speaking in front of audiences at any cost. Just the thought of being observed by a group of strangers sent the adrenaline pumping through my veins, robbing me of the ability to talk. I was the embodiment of a shy nerd.
Today, I'm an internationally distinguished speaker, event moderator and speaking trainer.
I know: If I can make this transformation, so can you!

Stefan Götz

The day I understood the importance of self-confidence in shaping our own success is the day that changed my life forever. What I've learned about gaining self-confidence since then is so profound, that I decided to support other people to also live the life they want to live with the joy that everyone deserves.
I now accompany individuals on the journey to discover their own self-worth and help them lead the lives they wish for.
