How can we feel less existentially alone and more in love with life?
Most of the time, we’re absorbed in daily tasks and forget about the profound mystery of what it is to be a human. During this course we come together and explore key aspects of a human life - like how you relate to your inner world or what it is like for you to communicate with others. We do this by sharing from our own experience and tapping into the collective wisdom of the group.
Why are we doing this?
For our everyday life:
Understanding ourselves better fosters compassion and develops agency to help ourselves when we are struggling. This enhances our potential for having more authentic, nurturing and harmonious relationships. Whether it is in our work, or personal life.
In the bigger perspective:
When we raise each other up we realize that more of you actually means more of me, which helps us feel more love and live life more fully. We get in contact with the sacredness of life.
🌌 About the course 🌌
Over the two days we will explore topics of what it is like to be human. It will be based on exercises from Authentic relating - which focuses on active listening and promotes more awareness, compassion and courage. To add a touch of mysticism we will use the symbols of the planets from an astrological perspective as different archetypal themes to explore. Like for example the Moon as a symbol for how we relate to our ever-changing emotions or Mars as a symbol for how we relate to our inner fire and what we are willing to fight for.
Disclaimer - this is NOT a course in astrology and does not relate to your personal birth chart, but rather uses parts of the theory as inspiration for themes that are universally human. The course does not involve any physical touch.
Schedule:
+ Interactive exercises in pairs, small groups and in the big group.
+ Group sharing opportunities to reflect and gain insights.
+ One hour lunch break in the middle of the day to eat, rest and recharge.
🌌 Who is it for? 🌌
Anyone curious about more deeply exploring universally human themes with others and with themselves. No prior experience of Authentic Relating is needed. Familiarity with awareness, and/or connection practices, like for example meditation or circling, is recommended.

🌌About the facilitator 🌌
I’m Julia Björn and together we’ll go on the journey of this course.
One of the biggest interests of my life is the mystical enigma of what it is to be human and exploring that together with others.
I’m completing my certification as an Authentic Relating facilitator with ART International. I am also a certified yoga teacher with Green yoga International. I continuously host events with the purpose of creating deeper and more meaningful interactions. I have been hosting AR-evenings at Nära for 1.5 years as well as at the Nära-festival.

🌌What people say about Julia 🌌
Linn, participant at AR@nära - “With her curiosity and passion for authentic relating, Julia is amazing at creating a safe and welcoming space for exploring whatever’s alive in yourself and in the group. She’s an inviting and inspiring facilitator”
Albin, participant at AR@nära - "Julia creates an allowing, gentle, and held container, encouraging me to slow down and tune in. She guides with a clear and well-thought-out structure, but also senses where we participants are in the moment and meets us there to let the space unfold. With attunement and presence, she gently helps me connect with deeper parts of myself."
Marcus, participant at AR@nära - “Julia manages to hold space with such integrity and kindness which makes me feel safe to explore and grow. She has taught me the art of becoming an active listener, being present with what’s happening right now and letting go of planning what I shall say when it’s my turn to speak. Trusting that the words will come when it’s time. Her AR evenings have helped me in finding my voice, expressing my emotions and sharing thoughts in a group. It has been more valuable to me in dealing with social anxiety than therapy. I can also tell how much Julia has grown in the past year. Becoming more and more confident. Developing an ability to tune into what the group needs and adapting her planned exercises to that. It has been a privilege to witness and be a part of “
Hans participant at AR@nära - “Attending Julia's authentic relating workshops has been a profound journey of connection and self-discovery. She brings an infectious energy and genuine openness that set a safe, inviting tone, encouraging everyone to show up fully as themselves. Julia has a remarkable gift for creating spaces where meaningful interactions flourish, helping participants feel seen, heard, and empowered. Her facilitation is ever-evolving, with each session feeling fresh and thoughtfully tailored to the group’s dynamics. By leading with vulnerability and authenticity, Julia inspires others to do the same, enriching the entire experience. I wholeheartedly recommend her workshops.”
