About this Event

Join us for the first part of a transformative series themed after the profound teachings found in The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. This series is designed to help you learn, practice, and build your relational skills based on the timeless wisdom of The Four Agreements.

Each Authentic Relating night is built around a theme, such as ‘curiosity’ or ‘boundaries’, which gives participants the opportunity to deepen their existing relationships and expand their communication skills.

It takes practice to ‘live in the moment,’ but once you can relax and feel comfortable in your skin, the benefits are boundless.

During an Authentic Relating event, you’ll participate in a series of facilitated exercises/games that will introduce the language used in the practice of ‘Relational Meditation’’ which is based on the principles of Non-Violent Communication (NVC), authentic relating, and simply - being present.

Join us to discover what becomes possible when authentic relating and presence becomes our playground

Why games?

How much of your life is fun? I mean really fun… and what about meaning? How deeply meaningful are the regular interactions you have with other people? ...What if you could have both in one evening? What if you could have both in your life?

The games we play create a space to practice being authentically human. Throughout the event, you’ll be led by experienced facilitators through experiential exercises and games which allow the opportunity to connect with people in rich and meaningful ways. The evening is created to deepen your connection with yourself and the other participants, all in a safe environment to express how you really feel.

Through these games, you’ll more than likely experience:

  • Making new friends
  • Learn something about yourself
  • Learn something about being human
  • Have the courage to share something about yourself
  • Have the compassion to be with others as they share their truth
  • Smile, laugh and have some fun!!

This is a warm and open space with people of all backgrounds. By the end of the night, most participants feel a sense of community.

What are the games themselves like?

The games come in three different formats; one-on-one connection, small groups, and the whole group. Some are light, fun, and playful. Others are serious and edgy. Almost all of them have a focus on being present and getting curious about what comes up through your experience of yourself and others.

Note* We are committed to making this event available to all. If you wish to attend but finances are an issue please dont hesitate to reach out, we would be happy to make accomodations.
