Authentic Relating

Authentic Relating (AR) Games are games in that there's a structure to each interaction, though nobody wins or loses. Each game is designed to flex and deepen both intrapersonal (what's happening in you?) and relational skills. The event will be overseen by an experienced facilitator, and you can opt out of or modify any interaction you want--so you're always choosing what you're up for. 

Authentic Relating practices create a held, intentional space--rooted in play and supported by clear boundaries--to practice relational skills and create meaningful connections to yourself and others. 

AR also allows you to practice expressing your authentic experience in the company of others. Expressing in this way enables you to create connections in the world based on who you really are. 

Games will begin at 7 and will end at around 9:30 p.m. Please feel free to come early and enjoy the cacao lounge at Flow Yoga! We'll have a short break during the event, with light snacks provided. 

Your facilitator is Heather McClellan of Connect Humanity and www.hkmcoaching.com. Heather has over a decade of experience leading AR Games, co-led the Austin AR community since its inception, has trained over 300 facilitators, and currently works with startups to Fortune 100 clients as an executive and founder coach, EQ trainer, and facilitator. She's also a keynote speaker on leadership development and EQ topics.
