Authentic Jazz, Solo Jazz, Vernacular Jazz, also old style Jazz.
We will dance solo on the jazz music from the late 20's throughout the golden era of swing until de 50's (sometimes in groups for choreographies, call & response, maybe battle, jam, improv)
We'll follow a recurring theme for 3-4 classes based on Charleston, soft shoe and all the classic jazz steps found in the classic routines.
We will work on moves, rhythm & syncopation, style and improvisation.
