Australia Day celebrations are back for 2026! Join us at Holroyd Gardens on Monday, 26 January, for an unforgettable evening of celebration and community spirit. Cumberland comes alive with an evening packed with fun, food, and family-friendly activities. From high-energy musical acts and cultural performances to an outdoor cinema and a wide variety of food trucks, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Bring your picnic blanket, soak up the festive atmosphere, and stay for our spectacular fireworks finale!

• 5:05 PM: Welcome to Country – Opening ceremony honouring Traditional Custodians.
• 5:20 PM: Road Warriors – Sydney's hottest supergroup featuring members from Rose Tattoo, Choirboys, and Dragon.
• 6:30 PM: Jayden Rodrigues Dance Party – Featuring Rockstar Tash, HOPPER the Hip Hop Kangaroo, and KHLOE the dancing Koala.
• 7:20 PM: Chris Sebastian – The Voice Australia winner takes the stage for a headline performance.
• 8:40 PM: Mayoral Address.
• 8:50 PM: Fireworks Finale – A spectacular closing display to light up the Cumberland sky.

• Outdoor Cinema: Enjoy family-friendly movies starting at 5:00 PM and 6:40 PM.
• Eat & Drink: A delicious mix of vendors including Mr Kernal (potato on a stick), Jimmy’s Ice Cream (Lamington Sundaes), May’s Malaysian Hawker, Grillin' Around (Lebanese BBQ), and more.
• Community Corner: Market stalls, Australia Day themed merchandise, and kids' activities including glow sticks and bubble wands.

• Transport & Parking: Limited on-site parking is available. Attendees are encouraged to observe parking signs and avoid resident driveways.
• Road Closures: Pitt Street and Walpole Street will have closures/partial closures between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM to assist with crowd movement.
