**Austin Webb LIVE ALBUM RECORDING at Eddie's Attic!**Born and raised in Possum Kingdom, South Carolina, Austin Webb emerged as a country singer and songwriter with a diverse musical background encompassing classic country, motown, rock, and R&B. His early passion for writing found expression through poetry, but it wasn't until he received a guitar at the age of 15 that his journey as a songwriter truly began.
Transitioning toward Atlanta, Webb embarked on a prolific period of performing along the coast while independently releasing albums such as "Written Photography" in 2007 and "Holy Smoke" in 2010. A pivotal moment came when he won a songwriting contest in Greenville, which propelled him to set his sights on Nashville. In 2011, he made the decisive move to Music City.
Fortune favored Webb when a demo of his songs reached producer Byron Gallimore, renowned for his work with artists like Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sugarland. Impressed by Webb's talent, Gallimore, along with Jim Wilkes' Streamsound Records, extended a publishing and recording contract. This collaboration resulted in Webb's debut single, "It's All Good," released in 2012, followed by three more singles, two of which landed in the top 40. Webb's career as a performer saw him grace numerous venues including the Grand Ole Opry, often opening for esteemed artists like Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Keith Urban etc. His achievements as an artist include accumulating over 25 million streams, cultivating a dedicated following of 140,000 online supporters, securing two Top 40 hit singles on Country Radio, and selling over 150,000 singles. Moreover, his prowess as a songwriter is evident in his contributions to Colt Ford's "Young Americans," Emerson Drive's "Just Got Paid," Casey James' "Feel," and other notable tracks for various artists.
Following the dissolution of Streamsound Records in 2015, Webb's journey persisted, with Sony releasing Dee Jay Silver’s "Just Got Paid" featuring Austin exclusively on XM radio in 2016. After a three-year hiatus to focus on family, Webb returned to the music scene in 2019 with the launch of an 18-date Southeast tour, aptly named the "Buds & Suds Tour," exclusively hosted by breweries.
Despite maintaining a low profile, Webb has continued to actively pursue his craft, engaging in writing, recording, and performing at over 50 private events. While his presence may simmer on the backburner, it's evident that his artistic journey is far from over, leaving anticipation for what lies ahead.
