Family-Friendly Event at Bartholomew Park Supports Health Alliance for Austin

Hill & Hammer, a quality custom woodworking firm, will host its first annual Park Cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 22 bringing families together to support public green spaces and the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM).
The cleanup is planned at Bartholomew District Park, 9:30 – 11:30 am. Breakfast tacos and trash bags will be provided. Volunteers will meet up at the Greenbrook Parkway parking lot, 1759 Greenbrook Parkway.
Hill & Hammer will donate $20 for every bag of trash collected up to $1,000 to HAAM. The company’s founders, Dustin Withers and Jonathan Marshall, are both musicians who grew up enjoying Austin’s green spaces. They have now combined their talents for high-quality craftmanship and launched Hill & Hammer in 2021, providing custom-finished woodworking projects to Austin residents, builders, and designers.
“We believe there are many things that make Austin a special place and foremost, it is Austin’s many green spaces and the musicians that comprise the Austin music scene,” said Withers. “We grew up playing disc golf in Austin’s parks, hiking and kayaking its many creeks and lakes, and playing and attending shows all around town. These experiences have shaped who we are, and we want to give back as we raise our families to appreciate and preserve all that Austin has to offer.”
