This event supports homeless veterans in the Austin Area. Leading up to the event, is a donation drive for needed items. Those items could be Jackets & hoodies, cargo shorts & pants, sweats & joggers, Cargo belts with double D Rings, suspenders, hats (baseball caps, boonies, cowboy, etc), beanie hats (black, brown, tan, or green), Shoes (lace-up boots with good soles), boxer briefs (NON WHITE), shirts (NON-White), and bags (military style duffels or large backpacks).Please be considerate of the condition of donated items. These are our veterans and we want them to be able to choose clothing that helps them feel supported and cared for.
Camo, military branch-specific logos, and Texas sports teams are desirable.
Fleece blankets are not desirable for a variety of reasons.
