WHAT: Austin TX UKRAINIANS women’s rally at the Mothers Day

Rally to get together for more than 100 women who supports Ukraine, aimed at drawing attention to the current problem of the deportation of Ukrainian children and genocide in Ukrainу and children died as a result of russian invasion. Its purpose is to expand public awareness, attract the attention of state bodies and the international community. This rally will seek prompt concrete action to stop deportations and ensure justice for victims and increase American support for Ukraine.
Goal:
Educate the people in Austin, TX, about the problem of the deportation of Ukrainian children and the genocide in Ukraine, to draw the attention of state bodies and the international community to this problem, encourage support for Ukraine, and punish those guilty of crimes.
Issues:
Illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to the territory of russia, sending them to re-education camps to make the children more pro-russian in their personal and political views (sites - Humanities Research Laboratory, Yale School of Public Health: New Haven).
Illegal adoption of Ukrainian children who were deported by russia to re-education camps under the guise of vacation and rehabilitation programs, and later distributed to russian families. (russian-offensive-campaign-assessment-november-16 - INSTITUTE FOR THE STUDY OF WAR)
Insufficient attention and reaction of the international community and state bodies to these problems, and non-recognition of the genocide in Ukraine. (Genocide - forcibly transferring children of the group to another group -Genocide) Article 2 of the international treaty CPPCG or Genocide Convention.
520+ children are murdered as a result of russian air strikes and illegal actions of russian soldiers in Ukraine.
What we want to say:
russia is committing the crime of genocide during the war against Ukraine, deporting Ukrainian children to the territory of russia, destroying families, and destroying the culture of Ukraine. russia poses a threat to the entire democratic world. The crimes of genocide must be recognized and punished at the international level.
