Austin Neal was born and raised in Southeast Missouri. He started out playing music at six years old, picking up influence from artists such as Don Williams, Jim Croce, Travis Tritt and others. During his teen years he would spend more and more time across the Mississippi River in Memphis, Tennessee where he gained more influence from artists and groups such as the Black Crowes, Eagles, B.B. King and Stevie Ray Vaughn. He brought that sound with him to Connecticut when he moved to the area in 2023. Austin was a "Georgia Country Male Artist of the Year" nominee for five years from 2019-2023. He has opened for acts including Craig Campbell, Shenandoah, Diamond Rio, Chris Hicks (from Marshall Tucker Band) Neil McCoy, Danny Dawson, Mark Chesnutt and Jesse Keith Whitley. His debut album Just Me is available on all streaming and digital download platforms.
