This year is the 250th anniversary of the birth of English novelist Jane Austen. Her books have remained bestsellers since they were published and many have been adapted into television shows and films that contain incredible ballroom scenes and dancing. Do you wish you could be swept up by your own Mr Darcey on the dancefloor? If you want to learn the difference between Cotillions, Longways and Boulangeries, which Jane Austen enjoyed in her day, or just want to take to the floor like a Regency rake or heroine, then we have just the workshop for you. Royal Ballet School teacher Natalie Krapf will lead you through some of dances from various period drama shows, as well as introducing some historically accurate dance moves. No previous dance training is necessary. Our last Regency dance workshop was very popular, so make sure you get your tickets!
Suitable for adults and young people aged 12+. Under 18s must come in a pair.
