About this Event
Aunt Marge's .5K
Aunt Marge's .5KGet ready for the most epic .5K (yes, that’s just 0.31 miles) hosted by everyone's favorite neighborhood aunt—Aunt Marge! Why run a marathon when you can crawl a few feet and still get a trophy? Aunt Marge's .5K is a "race" for those who believe running is best done in small doses, like… very small. Participants will receive a carb-loading station (aka donut stand) halfway through the course to refuel, and don’t forget the hydration breaks—at Woody's Sports Bar at the completion of the walk!
Whether you're walking, shuffling, or rolling your way across the finish line, expect plenty of Aunt Marge's good-natured commentary like, "Don’t rush, darling, the finish line isn’t going anywhere!” Plus, every finisher gets a medal and a hug from Aunt Marge herself. Prepare to laugh, wobble, and question why anyone would ever run more than 500 meters ever again!
Proceesds from the event benefit Shantaè Morgan and her bid for Miss Big Thickette and the Turtle Creek Chorale.
