About this Event
The Community Schools Leading & Learning Visit is a one-day immersive experience in Anaheim Union community schools that offers educators and
school leaders an opportunity to explore critical strategies and partnerships for developing successful community schools that engage the whole community in developing successful students ready to pursue meaningful careers and
participate in civic life. Whether you are a teacher, principal, community partner, parent, or district leader, we invite you to join us for this exciting day of immersion in the Anaheim Union Community Schools approach.
The Community Schools Leadership & Learning Lab includes:
- Visits with community partners
- Classroom observations
- Introduction of best practices for designing and implementing community schools
- Community learning tour to various schools to see the programming related to community schools and family engagement
Our event will open with a welcome at our district office (in the La Palma room), followed by a bus tour to a community school.
