Our contest theme for August is "Landscapes".You can submit your entries any time during the month of August.

Please upload your photo to this event.
Your photo will be approved by an admin before it is viewable by the public.
Instagram and email entries are also accepted.
When emailing images, please email [email protected].
To enter through Instagram, please send the photo as a message to us and note it is for the Wall of Frame Contest.

RULES SUMMARY
We'll judge the contest within 1-2 business days from the end of the month.
Winner will be announced within 7 business days from the end of the month.
Please submit only one image, submission of two forfeits your entry.
If images are watermarked, you forfeit your entry.
You must be the photographer.
We can edit, share, redistribute, display, and make new works from your photo (not for sale) to use to conduct this and future contests, or for marketing and public relations surrounding this and future contests. We'll always credit you.
The winner receives an output of our choice which you can pick up in our store after around a month, or it can be shipped for a fee.
We'll notify you when it's ready to be picked up.
We can change these rules without notification if needed for clarity or for mistakes. All other changes will be notified in this thread.
For clarification on any of these rules, please do not hesitate to ask.

FOR WINNERS
If you win, please provide us a high-resolution copy to [email protected] within 48 hours of time of contact. If you don't, you forfeit your prize.
We'll notify you when it's ready to be picked up.
You must pick up your prize within 30 days.
You may not win 2 consecutive times.

LEGALLY BINDING RULES AND REGULATIONS
1) JUDGING & SUBMISSION:
1.a) Your image will be judged by our expert staff here at Kohne Camera based on the following criteria. Theme relevance, Creativity, Impact, Technical Quality, and, well, is it cool and suitable for framing?
1.b) Likes, Comments, and Shares have no effect on contest outcome. Facebook is not involved in these contests in any way.
1.c) Contestants may only submit 1 image per month. Once submitted, the image may not be replaced or changed. If more than 1 image is submitted, a Kohne Staff member will reach out and ask for you to pick one as your official entry, the second will be forfeit.
1.d) No visibly watermarked photos will be accepted. Submission of a visibly watermarked photo forfeits your right to entry. Non-visible forensic markings (metadata, LSB encoding, etc) is acceptable as long as it does not indicate who took or owns the image while viewing. 1.e) By entering, you are agreeing to provide a high-resolution copy of your image to us within 3 business days of the public announcement if you win. Failure to submit a high-resolution copy within 3 business days results in the forfeiture of your prize.
1.f) A winner will be announced within 7 business days of the end date (i.e. July's contest winner will be announced within the first 7 business days of August).
1.g) Current Kohne Employees are not eligible to submit photos. Past employees are eligible 1 month after leaving.
2) PHOTO OWNERSHIP AND LICENSES:
2.a) Submission of a photo grants a non-transferable license to Kohne Camera to: modify, print, enlarge, make derivative creative works of (such as but not limited to: collages with other entries, slideshows, videos, etc), repost, display in the store, and anything else, at our discretion for the purpose of marketing, public relations, and conducting this and future contests. You will always be credited as the photographer in a way chosen at our discretion. We will not sell your work on any products, and if we would like to use your image for any purpose outside of those listed above, we will request your written permission. To revoke this license at any time after submission of a photo, please send a written request to:

2.b)You must be the photographer of the work. You must hold the necessary copyrights to submit a photo and grant the license required in ยง2.a
3) WHAT YOU WIN:
3.a) Winner receives a free framed print of their winning photograph. The print will be displayed in our store for the following month.
3.b) Once we display the next winner's photo the previous winner will be notified and asked to pick up their frame. Winners may also choose to have their prize shipped to them for a fee.
4) SPECIAL NOTICE:
4.1) Rules are subject to change without notification for clarity, and larger rule changes will be posted in this thread.
4.2) No purchase necessary to win. A purchase will NOT increase your chances of winning. 4.3) If you require an alternate method of entry, please let us know. We are happy to work with you and provide possible accommodation
