These weekends are taken at a more leisurely pace, and this weekend is aimed at people who are starting their journey into open water swimming. We will be taking it very slowly and this is suitable for all stroke types. You do not need to have any experience swimming outdoors, but you do need to be happy swimming for around 500m, or 15 minutes. The aim is for at least 2 swims a day with 2x theory /knowledge sessions and lots of time to explore and relax too. On each day we will cover a small theory session, one on kit and safety while swimming, and one on tides, weather and planning a trip.
The accommodation is situated in Ledstone, just outside Kingsbridge. It's a gated property with lots of parking, and is a mix of en-suite and shared bathrooms. There is a large kitchen which is fully kitted out for cooking meals and relaxing in.
You can also chose to pay just a deposit for £150pp, the remaining will need to be paid at least 6 weeks before the retreat.
The weekend includes:
